Join ASA
Thank you for your interest in joining ASA as an Associate Member.
ASA is a bi-partisan organization that represents the grass roots of American aerospace. It is a scientific and educational organization of Lieutenant Governors, Governor-appointed delegates, and associate members from industry and academia. ASA was formed to promote a state-based perspective in federal aerospace policy development and to support education outreach and economic development opportunities. ASA holds an hour telecon the third Thursday of every month at 4:00 Eastern time that will inform you of aerospace activities in Washington, D.C. and within other states. As a member of ASA you will have the opportunity to shape national policy and network with aerospace leaders in government and industry.
ASA has held hearings on STEM Education, FAA Reauthorization, NASA funding, and ITAR reform. In early January 2009, then-President-elect Obama’s transition team reached out to ASA for a states-based perspective on NASA and US space policy. The aerospace industry’s premier magazine, Aviation Week, hosts a special ASA Forum on its website. ASA member states are now able to use that forum to showcase aerospace and aviation news in their states to a huge audience.
Please fill out the membership form and we will welcome you at our next monthly telecon. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to discuss this further. I look forward to your active involvement in ASA.
