The scholarship program deadline was extended to February 28 this year and we are about to make a selection. I have read your comments and know that there are worthy applicants in High School who want to get into engineering programs and in graduate school. Our education committee is reviewing our scholarship program criteria and application procedures and will be making changes for next year. Stay tuned for an update.

Hello,

I am a fourth year at the University of Virginia pursuing a degree in Astrophysics. I have two questions.
1. Is it too late to turn in an application? I realize the Jan 15 deadline has been extended, but to what date?
2. I will be graduating this May but hope to fund research I am currently conducting here at the University. Can this scholarship be awarded to someone in my circumstance?

Thank you and I look forward to your response.

My daughter has her BA in Aviation Admin and has had coop experience with the Memphis Airport Authority and experience scheduling SIM training for pilots at FedEx. She wants to get her MA in an aviation related field. Are there any scholarships for which she may apply? She is a member of Women in Aviation. Thanks.

Show me the numbers today in US only. Are the airlines in the top 10 if carbon emissions in US? How many jets per year equates one average size coal plant?
