The 2023 ASA Aerospace Summer Internship Program is for high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in the aerospace industry. All students pursuing STEM- (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
The 2023 Internship Program will run for two weeks, a virtual week, June 12-16, followed by an in-person week, Alabama June 19-23 and Colorado July 17-22, which gives students ample time to experience what it’s like to work in various facets of the aerospace industry. Students will spend time at various aerospace facilities where they will have a chance to meet the best and the brightest in the aerospace industry, participate in hands-on activities, and get an exclusive behind the-scenes look at what each company does and some of the exciting projects they are working on.
It’s Not Rocket Science!
If you’ve ever gazed up to the stars and wondered what’s out there or perhaps even had dreams of going yourself, now is your chance to start turning those dreams into reality. If you are a high school or college student living in Alabama and Colorado, you are eligible to apply for the 2023 ASA Aerospace Internship Program where you will get a chance to gain exposure and obtain relevant work experience with various aerospace companies in Alabama and Colorado.
During the internship you will have an opportunity to network with leading aerospace professionals, drive rovers, launch water rockets, learn about the various engineering disciplines and what it takes to be successful in the industry, and meet a number of people working on some amazing projects in aerospace!

Colorado In-Person Program- July 17-22, 2023
The Alabama Aerospace Internship Program will run in the summer of 2022. Students will be requested to provide a brief biography of their background and career aspirations. Selection will be based on interest and availability.
